Very cute little set of baker's tools with everything you need to make artisan bread. The proving basket is a pretty decent size, you could make some largish doughs in there if you wanted to and in inclusion of a linen liner is nice too, lets you do more freeform boules instead of being defined by the shape of the basket. The lame is fairly short, and bent at one end, so you've got better control while scoring the dough. The bench scraper is nice to use aswell, the handle had a smaller body than others I have, which I like as sometimes these can be quite clunky. It's even got a small hole if you wanted to hang it up but you'd have to be a bit more serious than me to do that!

I have got into baking during the past few weeks. Without a baking tin I have been able to bake free standing bloomers with ~64% water. With a loaf tin I’m able to bake the similar hydration. I’ve been wanting to be able to make higher hydration bread. And this is where this basket comes in. Perfect size for ~500g flour loafs of bread. Basket is sturdy and seems like it will last. With such we dough, it’s important to use a very sharp razer to score the top, this package come with a few really sharp ones. Can’t wait to try sour dough next!

I love it. If you want the basket lines on your bread, then don't use the material liner. Instead apply cornflour onto the basket to avoid the dough from sticking. Instead I use the material liner to cover the dough once it goes into the fridge for overnight proving.

Um zu Hause Brot zu backen ist so ein Gärkörbchen fast unverzichtbar. Und wenn man ehrlich ist, backt man dann meistens auch nicht nur ein Brot sondern gleich mehrere. Deswegen haben wir uns nun ein weiteres Gärkörbchen zugelegt. Für dieses Set haben wir uns entschieden weil so viel Zubehör dabei war. Das Leinentuch kann man innen liegen lassen damit das Brot beim gehen weniger am Körbchen haftet oder man kann es auch als Abdeckung zum Gehen lassen verwenden. Ich finde es auf jeden Fall sehr praktisch. Das hatten wir bei unserem ersten Gärkörbchen leider nicht mit dabei. Der Teigschaber / Abstecher ist schön groß und liegt gut in der Hand. Viel toller fand ich jedoch diese Rasierklinge am Stiel mit der man Verzierungen in den Teig ritzen kann. Die Klingen sind mega scharf und können relativ einfach ausgewechselt werden wenn sie nicht mehr scharf genug sind. Damit lies sich der Teig wirklich super einritzen. Leider ist unser Brot nicht so gut aufgegangen und das Ergebnis ist deswegen nicht ganz perfekt geworden. Ich freue mich aber schon auf die nächsten Backtage um da weiter experimentieren zu können. Alle in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Set und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen.
